How is the CAIJ financed?

Last updated: 16 June 2025

Approximately 84% of the organization’s revenues come from dues paid by members of the Quebec Bar, and 12% from dues paid by members of the Chambre des notaires du Québec.

The CAIJ was born out of a desire to create an efficient, effective structure that would give legal professionals access to the legal information crucial to their practice. The CAIJ acts as their legal information broker, negotiating access to content on their behalf.
