CAIJ uses various technologies (including cookies) to offer reliable, secure and intuitive  services. These technologies allow CAIJ to evaluate site traffic, authenticate authorized users, analyze and define our members’ interests and personalize our services and digital content.

Although it is impossible to guarantee total protection, CAIJ is committed to protecting personal information and has put in place rigorous methods that meet the highest security standards.

Data collection and use of confidential information are done by CAIJ only, unless otherwise noted. Data is used to provide services to CAIJ’s cardholders and to contact users who voluntarily identify themselves.

Payment information Credit card number. No collection from CAIJ.  Payment Information sent through forms is handled directly by Desjardins, CAIJ’s Financial Institution. Only Desjardins has access to secured payment information.
Statistics and usage (anonymous) Pages viewed, searches, number of logins, type of device used. Anonymous data collected by cookies from third party’s digital tools such as Google Analytics. Data used to personalize and improve services (i.e.: statistic analysis, bug fixing or fault diagnosis, etc.).
Log files (collected automatically) Connexions to server, searches, results viewed, library usage Anonymous data collected by management systems Data captured for the delivery of services or used to personalize and improve services (i.e.: statistic analysis, bug fixing, etc.).

 

 

 

Web users can change their browser settings to limit the data collection and use while visiting a site or submitting a form. However, online services, which require authentication to access the secured site Mon CAIJ, need specific technologies.
