Where can I find legal abbreviations?

Last updated: 4 September 2025

You can find a legal abbreviation by searching the Espace CAIJ library catalog.

  • From the Explore menu, select Library catalog.
  • Click on Advanced search below the search bar.
  • Enter the abbreviation you’re looking for (e.g.: R.J.Q., with periods) in the “Phrase or keyword” field.
  • In the “In…” column, select Abbreviation.
  • Click on Search.

Don’t forget to include periods in the abbreviation for accurate results (for example, write R.J.Q. not RJQ).
