What happens if I lose a borrowed document?

A document is considered lost if it is not returned within 30 days of the loan expiry date.
In this case, a replacement fee will be charged to the CAIJ cardholder:
- the price of the document (or an average price if this information is not available);
- administration costs, added to the replacement cost.
These charges remain payable even if the document is found and returned after billing.
