What body of case law is accessible in the CAIJ search engine?

The CAIJ search engine provides access to a vast corpus of case law covering all Canadian courts, including the jurisdictions of Quebec, the other provinces and territories, as well as the federal courts.

This corpus, fed in partnership with CanLII, identifies over 2.4 million decisions. The full texts are available free of charge from several sections of Espace CAIJ, including :

  • special files proposed by the CAIJ;
  • keyword search in the engine ;
  • Annotated Laws ;
  • Documented research questions ;
  • navigation by area of law.

This wealth of documentation will enable you to quickly identify relevant decisions for your legal research.
