What happens if I lose a document?

A document is considered lost if it is not returned within 30 days following the loan due date.  The cost of replacing a lost document is the responsibility of the CAIJ cardholder. If the price of the lost document is unavailable, the client is charged the average price of documents and a $25 administration fee, plus taxes.

The $25 administration fee plus taxes and fine are payable even if the document in question is found and returned to CAIJ.
