How does a loan between libraries work?

A loan between libraries can be made with your CAIJ card with another institution when a document is not found in CAIJ’s collections.  Obviously, the renewal is subject to the regulations of the lending institution. If fines are charged, they are the responsibility of the CAIJ cardholder. The loan period may range from 1 to 6 weeks based on the lending institution’s policies.  To renew a loan between libraries, you must make a request to peb@caij.qc.ca.
