In this era of confinement, the CAIJ now facilitates your meetings and exchanges with the addition of a free videoconferencing platform through secure and encrypted connections in Mon CAIJ.
The CAIJ offers you 10 deliveries (round trip) free of charge between April 1 and June 30, 2021.
In addition, fines for tardiness are suspended until further notice.
The CAIJ offers you 10 free document searches between April 1 and June 30, 2021. Document tracking is also a means of utilizing expanded services offered by valuable partners during the pandemic.
The CAIJ’s document retrieval service team will assist you in your search for plumitif information at no administrative cost. Only the actual fees charged by SOQUIJ are billed.

Very active, CAIJ supports several initiatives of members or partner organizations that help our fellow citizens. Among these is the COVID-19 Legal Assistance Clinic, jointly orchestrated by the Department of Justice, the Commission des services juridiques, the Barreau du Québec and the CAIJ.
CAIJ lends a hand to Juripop and its family law legal hotline in support of victims of domestic violence.
To encourage knowledge sharing and exchanges, the Fondation du Barreau is partnering with the CAIJ to bring together online, in a dedicated space available free of charge to students and members of the Bar, articles and books useful to lawyers in these times of crisis related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective is to centralize for members of the legal community publications related to the various legal aspects in times of crisis.
